Our first awareness in the world of objects is formed through colors. Colors are actually an element of the unconscious reflection and expression of emotions.

Nowadays, largely influenced by the pandemic, a state of being established in the body-mind-heart triangle has emerged. Color, material, and textures are now being discussed through these concepts. Color therapy has become an essential part of design.

There are unchanging colors in our lives. Like, the identification of neo-romantic applications with white, “off-white” ecru, powders, and the reflection of black's assertive stance in the business world... The smoky effects arising from the combination of mink and gray ranges with skin tones will always create an effective unity.

However, the current year is defined by accent colors showing themselves on different surfaces, as nondescript. In 2021, the year of sharpness, timeless and ageless concepts are discussed. The 2021 color trends reveal energies that activate the separate realms of the soul, heart, and body in three different themes:

• 1.    The Provocative Mind theme reflects an individual's inner turmoil with a palette of dominant components coming together in a unique selection. A dark “nude” mixing with peach transforms into burgundy-khaki
• 2.    The Sport, Speed, and Movement theme takes over the principles of functionality in design. Here, vibrant colors like sulfur yellow, elemental green, and dark turquoise meet with earth colors.
• 3.    The Natural Cycle, Essence, New-Human emphasis covers the themes of "Atmosphere" and "New Living Spaces." We see all the changes in clouds and the sky in colors and designs. Yellow and terracotta come together, with “fire” orange and purple side by side.

Colors are a part of our lives, and definitely there's a color that makes us all feel good and motivates us. It’s on designers’ shoulders to connect people to their lives, surroundings, and the world in these uncertain times using colors that provide the energy they need.
